Health and Society

The intersections of technology, medicine, health and access have never been more pressing or exciting. Students in the Honors College at the University of Utah explore the many dimensions of health (social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual and physical) through research and practice as well as local and global outreach. Whether you’re majoring in biology or biomedical engineering, or health, society and policy or exercise and sports science, you can join other Honors students and collectively embark on careers to solve pressing issues around health. Students have developed a non-profit, resource guides, air quality videos in multiple languages, workshops and an all-abilities herb garden for cancer patients.
