HONORS MILESTONE ADVISING PROGRAM (MAP)
The Honors Milestone Advising Program (MAP) is one part of the institution's commitment to honors students about how to progress to and through your undergraduate experience at the University of Utah. Students meet with advisors at various milestones:
- First-Year Milestone Advising - Any student admitted as a new first-time, first-year and who is in their first semester of enrollment at the University of Utah
- Second-Year Milestone Advising - Students with 2-3 prior terms of enrollment and who have 90 hours or less of completed coursework
- Undeclared Advising - Students with 60+ credit hours and at least 2 prior terms of enrollment who have not yet declared a major or pre-major
FIRST YEAR MANDATORY ADVISING CHECKLIST
You must complete your New Student Virtual Orientation modules before you meet with an academic advisor. If you have questions about how to complete the Virtual Orientation modules, you can find more information here.
