Guests will participate in sessions covering an overview of Honors, Housing, the student perspective and time with faculty and advisors. Tours of the Honors Residence are provided as an optional add on to the day. Three Choice Days are available in spring.

All Choice Days are held on Saturdays and begin at 1:30pm, ending by 4pm. (the option to add an Honors Housing tour will appear in the registration portal. Tours begin promptly at 12:45pm on each of these days).

Spring 2020 schedules made available in December 2019

Honors College Choice Day. This day is designed for the newly accepted student to learn the most about the Honors College. The event is open, however, to any interested guest. The Honors Choice Day is the BEST way to determine if the Honors College at the UofU is a good fit for you.

You will participate in sessions covering an overview of Honors, Housing, the student perspective and time with faculty and advisors. We’ll host this event at the Alumni House, on campus.

Note: An optional tour of the Honors residential living spaces is open to you. These tours meet in the lobby of the Alumni House where a housing ambassador will lead you to the Marriott Honors Community building. If you registered for this option please be sure to arrive by 12:45pm.

Should you schedule an Honors Tour, we also recommend scheduling a visit with the University Office of Admissions to see a full University of Utah presentation and receive a campus tour.

University Of Utah Red, White and U Day is a special University-wide date wherein all admitted students are invited to visit and learn more. The Honors College does participate in this day and will hold an information as part of the day’s events. Tours of the Honors residence will be included as an option. RWU Day will be held on April 2020.

*Note the information shared during this session will be a repeat of that presented during Honors Tours and Honors Choice Days. If you have previously attending an Honors event, you do not need to attend the Honors session.
