After earning my teaching degree from the University of Utah, I taught 5th grade at Woodrow Wilson Elementary for several years before deciding to leave the classroom to pursue graduate education. I now attend Capella University where I am working towards my PhD in Education. I also work as an educational consultant for nonprofit organizations as well as a homeschool teacher/tutor for 1st-6th graders. My favorite subjects to teach are science, math, and writing. I currently live in South Salt Lake with my husband, two cats, and a dog. In my free time, you can find me curled up on my armchair with my cats, drinking coffee and reading a book; flying on a plane to a foreign country; boxing, cycling, doing yoga at the gym; or walking my pup around the neighborhood!

I graduated from the University of Utah in 2017, during my time in the Honors College I wrote a thesis titled, “The Glass Institution: An Analysis into the Capacity of the United States to Elect a Female President”. Since graduating from the Honors College, I attended Georgetown University Law Center and started my legal career in corporate law. I now live in Montana close by family and clerk for the Montana Supreme Court.

Chandler Dean is an associate in the Fort Worth office at Naman Howell. His practice focuses on civil litigation, primarily insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, and products liability.
Chandler is a proud graduate of Baylor University School of Law, where he was a member of the Baylor Law Review and the Baylor Barrister Society as well as several student organizations. While in law school, Chandler completed multiple internships and externships with The Honorable Jeffrey L. Cureton, The Honorable Jeffrey C. Manske, and The Honorable Alan D Albright. He also represented Baylor Law at multiple moot court and mock trial competitions.
Prior to joining Naman Howell, Chandler worked as the Practice Court Associate and LL.M. Associate at Baylor University School of Law. During this time, Chandler had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most respected trial lawyers, judges, and thought leaders across a variety of practices. In addition to other duties, he assisted with Baylor's Academy of the Advocate in St. Andrews, coached several advocacy teams, and helped recruit for, run, and analyze the results of several jury testing focus groups. While working as the LL.M. Associate, Chandler earned his LL.M. in Litigation Management. His studies and research focused on how to better develop effective and efficient legal solutions in order to achieve the right result for his clients with a particular emphasis on early case assessment, complex litigation, and MDLs.

I graduated from the University of Utah in December of 2019 with an honors degree in Strategic Communications. My thesis was titled “Negative News isn’t Always Negative: Utah Journalists Reflect on News Values and Audience Engagement in the Digital Age" and focused on the main ethical values journalists consciously think of during their practice. Directly after graduation, I worked at U.S. Ski and Snowboard in a variety of roles, including Team Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee member, Sports Development Coordinator, and Communications and Special Events Coordinator. I recently switched industries and am now working as a Program Manager for the One Utah Health Collaborative, which is a nonprofit that is trying to reduce healthcare spending in the state. I currently live in Salt Lake City with my partner and love spending time with my family and friends, skiing and hiking in the mountains, and volunteering whenever I can.

After graduating, I worked as a policy analyst for the Utah System of Higher Education, and then began medical school at the University of Washington in the fall of 2021. I am currently a rising 3rd-year medical student at UW, and am still deciding the kind of physician I want to be. I currently serve as a wellness representative, a pre med mentor, an AHEC scholar, a TA for the Pre-Matriculation program and have served on multiple search committees for UW. Additionally, I am the vice president and co-founder of the Idaho Equity in Youth Education and Sports (EYES).

Major: Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with an emphasis in Journalism
Eliza graduate in 2021 with an Honors degree in Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. While in the Honors College Eliza wrote a thesis titled: “Social Media and Mental Health High School Curriculum” Eliza currently works at KSL TV News as a digital content producer and digital reporter. Eliza previously worked at Fox13 News as a real-time editor.

Summer recently graduated from the University of Utah in May of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and an emphasis in anatomy and physiology. Since graduating Eliza started dental school at the U’s School of Dentistry. In any free time, she loves to ski, scuba dive, and rock climb.
