HONORS INTEGRATED MINORS
The Honors Integrated Minors provide a structured pathway to completing multiple Honors Degree requirements, built around a common theme and shared with a cohort of peers. Students from any major may earn the minor by taking interdisciplinary liberal arts and sciences over consecutive semesters. Students who successfully complete the Minor will have completed the majority of the requirements for the Honors Degree.
All minors have a global and local track. The global program includes a credit-bearing summer intensive offered through the University of Utah Learning Abroad office. Scholarships are available through the integrated minor admissions application and externally (i.e. Learning Abroad scholarships application). The Utah-based tracks have no additional costs beyond regular tuition and fees.
Applications for the 24-25 academic year cohorts open on Jan. 17, 2024. For the global 24-25 cohorts, the 4-6-week learning abroad program will occur in Summer of 2025. To apply, click “learn more” link below for the minor you are interested in. Applications submitted after May 3 will be reviewed on a rolling basis through the summer.
*Admission applications include an optional need-based scholarship application
If you have any questions as a prospective or current minor student, please contact Dominic Pecoraro, associate director of special programs in Honors.
