Tell us what you’ve been up to or future plans: After earning my teaching degree from the University of Utah, I taught 5th grade at Woodrow Wilson Elementary for several years before deciding to leave the classroom to pursue graduate education. I now attend Capella University where I am working towards my PhD in Education. I also work as an educational consultant for nonprofit organizations as well as a homeschool teacher/tutor for 1st-6th graders. My favorite subjects to teach are science, math, and writing. I currently live in South Salt Lake with my husband, two cats, and a dog. In my free time, you can find me curled up on my armchair with my cats, drinking coffee and reading a book; flying on a plane to a foreign country; boxing, cycling, doing yoga at the gym; or walking my pup around the neighborhood!
