After graduating from the Honors College, Kajsa Vlasic attended the University of Utah School of Medicine and graduated in 2019. Kajsa then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she completed residency training in pediatrics. Kajsa is now back in Utah working on a combined fellowship at Primary Children’s Hospital in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Global Health while working on her Masters in Public Health through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Kajsa’s academic interests include global pediatric trauma, improving access to care for children in resource-limited settings and the utility of narrative medicine as a means of improving patient-physician relationships.
